| RECENT RELEASES... (Looking for old Noiseville singles? Check out NOISEVILLE STASH SALE) TOOTHFAIRY "Does Not Work Well With Reality" The debut album by NY outsider psych. Happily dances across lines that most modern psych bands would rather not. Not many people know who Toothfairy is, but they have gotten great press and built a large fan base. 2LP grey vinyl with a swank gatefold cover CLICK HERE CD version CLICK HERE "Hard Drug Made Me a Better Person" CD Their 2nd album, tripped out, wacky noisey psych played under a 60's slide show about drugs. Hand made 70's nickel bag cover almost gone CLICK HERE ALANA AMRAM "Whisky & Gin" 7" Do you like sweet sad songs sung on an acoustic guitar? Then this is for you. A sensation in the NYC/Brooklyn Americana scene Alana will break your heart. This was her debut 7" produced by Mr. Noiseville himself 500 made yellow wax $4 US ORDER OUTSIDE THE US ORDER THE HARD LESSONS "Live in Detroit" series 7" The second single in the Mark Arminski Live From Detroit 7" singles series. A great mix of alt rock and 70's soul give the Hard Lessons a great sound all their own. Voted Detroit Band of the Year too. $4 US ORDER OUTSIDE THE US ORDER MORTICIAN/MALIGNANCY/etc "Yonkers Death" CD EP Unreleased EP from 1991 featuring the best of Yonkers Death metal. Unreleased material. Edition of 1000 CLICK HERE HELIOS CREED "Deep Blue Love Vacuum" 2LP/CD Already considered by most of his hardcore fans the best Helios solo LP. Very creative, very trippy. Featuring JD Pinkus from Butthole Surfers 2LP edition of 1000 CLICK HERE CD Version CLICK HERE "Cowboy" Limited Edition 7" clear vinyl with Chrome live b-side 1000 made US ORDER OUTSIDE THE US ORDER MANDATE OF HEAVEN "On No Evil Star" LP More like a split release with the Mandate of Heaven folks. Never heard of them? No problem. No one has. Just the kind of thing we were born to bring you. Really good alterantive outsider rock. If they were on a big label with a real budget to promote/publicize things, they'd be considered the band that brought all the emo kids out of their little rut with horrible bands. CLICK HERE UNHOLY SWILL "Legacy of Stupidity" CD Its been 20 years since Unholy Swill first farted and cast the world under a dark cloud of aimless drunk stupidity. Believe it or not, they were once the biggest selling band on Noiseville. Sold over 15,000 Unholy Swill records. I shit you not. Kurt Cobain liked Unholy Swill (Joey met Kris and he told him so). Lots of equally as fucked up people did too. I'm kinda glad they did. This CD has everything the band ever did that you'd want to hear. For fans of Sockeye, Fuckemos, Sloth, and Coldplay (we have to help those poor sods somehow...) CLICK HERE ACCIDENTAL TRIBE "JazzGodRock" CD Another one of our releases from back in the dark ages of 1992 or so. Great odd psych psuedo stoner rock here. The band is still around and we have a few copies of their new 7". If you want a copy, email. This is their full CD and it is great. A sleeper. No one payed attention, but what the fuck else would you expect. One of our best releases here. It actually did sell pretty well. We only have about 30 copies left. CLICK HERE KEWPIE DOLLS "Hate U 2" CD Back in 1991 or 1992, we were trying to put out "real" releases by "real bands" that had a "real potential". Well we tried. See, there is a dirty secret in the indie world that has been true for a long time. If you don't have lots of money to pay publicity people, do lots of advertising, buy the band a van so they can tour, and so on, your album ain't gonna sell for shit. Period. It's just like the "big music biz" just smaller and doesn't smell as good. Too bad. Lesson learned the hard way for me. This was a lesson. Great guitar alternative pop here, garage flavored. Upbeat, good production. Has all of the makings of a bigtime album. Just not the money. My poo ass couldn't swing it. So the band vanished. A shame. One of the best versions of "Strycnine" by the Sonics you've ever heard. This is a really good album. CLICK HERE DAVID PEEL "War and Anarchy" CD Released way back in 1993, we still have a few copies lying around, so why don't cha get on the licking stick and order a copy of this CD that features Wayne Kramer from the MC5 wailing away at his guitar in complete oblivion to the rest of what is going on in the song. Tripped out insanity with a cruddy lower east side feel. CLICK HERE THE RADICTS "Rebel Sound" CD This was a pretty big seller on Noiseville. The LP and tape sold out pretty fast. The 1st pressing of the CD is long gone. This is the second pressing of the CD with some different art. It is still a great album. Total in your fast street wise punk blast with enough hooks to take down.... you know I hate cliches. This album fucking rules. Upbeat punk rock anthems before punk got all shitty and slimmey thanks to the whores at MTV and the majors. CLICK HERE SPLINTERED/HEADBUTT SPLIT CD Wow, found some more of this one. Back in 1992 I put out some of the best UK noise bands, well, almost. Was planning on a Ramleh CD but I went out of biz. But I did get this split CD out. Splintered is one of the best UK noise bands that no one gave much attention to. Don't know why, it is great dark shit. Headbutt is more pulverising, very industrial noise. The pressing plant screwed up the mastering and the Headbutt songs are way louder than Splintered. They didn't make CD test pressings back then. Fuck me. Only about 25 copies left. $10 US ORDER OUTSIDE THE US ORDER |

| Noiseville has been an indie label since 1988. We have also published art/concert posters. Most of the releases on the label are limited to one pressing only, and we prefer to put out vinyl. We'd like to keep titles in print, but do not have the room nor the money to keep our releases "in print." So don't dilly-dally or you may lose out. When ordering from Noiseville.com, you may notice that the order is filled by CDBaby. Why? Cause they are a hell of a lot faster at filling your order than we can. And they sell them for the same price as we would, so you get better service for the same money. We also have digital downloads available of most of our full length releases. This also makes it possible for you to listen to the albums before you buy. Just click on the order link listed for each album and you will be able to listen to, download and order the release. Ain't technology grand. We don't advertise much anymore, and don't hire promo/publicity people either, so the best way to be kept up to date on releases is to join our mailing list which also gives you the chance to post comments, questions, etc about Noiseville. We will NEVER sell this list nor allow it to be abused by others (within our control). In our 20 years of existence, we have NEVER been owned, funded, nor controlled by anyone other than our pigheaded selves. Maybe that explains why we are not a "big label", but maybe it is also the reason that we are still here, and we don't suck. Corporate free music still rules. Thanks for your support. |
